It's been a busy but exciting year for Hols Pets, and I had the pleasure of being a guest on Burton Radio's Snoozy Breakfast Show for the second time this year! It was a fantastic opportunity to share updates about the business, catch up with Harry and Tom, and talk about the services we offer at Hols Pets.
During the show, I was able to let the community know about all the exciting things happening behind the scenes at Hols Pets. From expanding our services to updates on my journey as a pet sitter and dog walker, it was great to keep everyone in the loop. I also got to share a bit about the future of the business and my plans for growth.
And that's not all! I am absolutely thrilled to announce that I will be featured in Burton Echo's brand new online newspaper, which is all about echoing local community positivity. I will also appear in their printed tabloid, which will be out on the 3rd of May 2025 - just in time to celebrate Hols Pets’ 3-year anniversary. What a milestone!
As you all know, I’m a huge advocate for supporting our local community, whether it’s through my donations to Amicii Dog Rescue and the RSPCA Burton, or as a Patron for Burton Radio. Burton Radio is a non-profit organisation dedicated to supporting and uplifting the community, and I’m proud to be involved with such a great cause.
The Snoozy Breakfast Show also had some other amazing guests, including Scott from Fuse 4, a graphic design agency here in Burton. Scott is celebrating 20 years in business, offering services in branding, logos, brochures, and websites. He's also part of the leadership team at The Community Church, located in Stapenhill. The church does incredible work in the community, including:
Monday: Food bank drop-in, in partnership with the Burton YMCA.
Tuesday: A cuppa and a chat.
Wednesday: Tea Pots, a vintage tea room.
Thursday: Warm welcome space with heat and eat.
Friday: Youth for Christ.
Baby and toddler events: For the little ones.
It was inspiring to hear all the wonderful work the church does for local people. You can find out more about The Community Church and all the fantastic services they offer on their website: The Community Church Burton.
And to top off the morning, I had the pleasure of seeing Dorothy Ella perform live! Dorothy is an amazing talent, and I can’t wait to see her go on her busking tour, visiting all the cities she loves - including Burton, at the end of May. She’s also performing at the new venue Becketwell Live in Derby, at their very first event.
It’s always a joy to be part of these community-focused events and share the love for everything Burton has to offer. Thank you to everyone who tuned in, and be sure to keep an eye out for my feature in Burton Echo’s new online paper and tabloid in May - let’s celebrate the future of Hols Pets together!
Stay tuned for more updates, and as always, thank you for your continued support!

Until next time, happy pet parenting.
